Honda and Acura PCM and TCM Modules

  •     You are ultimately responsible to have the correct module for the vehicle.

OEM Rebuilt is the best choice, C & e has seen 0 defective units in ten years.

C & e has good success programming Used units (if its the right part for that vehicle).

Aftermarket Rebuilt Modules have a very high failure rate. C & e no longer

programs Aftermarket Rebuilt modules. C & e had 36 defective units in 2014.

               PCM and TCM Modules

When replacing the PCM (new or used) have all Ignition Keys with vehicle.

When replacing a PCM (new or used) a security code is required. Call for prices.

               General instructions all Powertrain Modules

  •   Make sure data and codes can be read with a scanner not a code reader before

making a programming appointment with C & e. The module has  to be powered

up and communicating before it can be programed.

  •     Check the condition and state of charge of the Battery.
  •    Battery cables must be clean and tight.
  •      Vehicle must be parked close to a 110v wall outlet.

Honda and Acura Body, ABS, IPC and other Modules

  •   C & e will only Initialize OEM New or OEM Rebuilt Modules, no used units.

Only the ABS, IPC, MICU and Immobilizer needs Initializing. Others are Plug and Play

     ABS Module

If steering wheel is not straight, align vehicle before calling C & e. Otherwise Codes may set.

      IPC Module

Important, leave (ORIGINAL) IPC in vehicle, the Mileage in the original IPC has to be read and

stored in the OEM Honda scanner. Part of the Initialization writes the Mileage into the new IPC.

Caution do not operate vehicle with new IPC until Mileage is written into it. After 6 miles the

IPC locks and the correct Mileage will not write into unit.

       MICU and Immobilizer Modules

All Ignition Keys must be with vehicle when replacing these Modules.
