Warning;
Caution 2004 and newer Vehicles may have CAN Networking, do not install
any modules out of another vehicle. This includes Aftermarket Rebuilt Modules.
One ignition key on cycle and other modules may reconfigure. These modules
will now require replacement, programming will not salvage them. Click on Critical
Chrysler Jeep information link for details.
C & e has good success programming Used units (if its the right part for that vehicle).
C & e will no longer program Aftermarket Rebuilt Modules. 36 failed in 2014.
Special Instructions on TIPM Module
When replacing the TIPM, call for special instructions. TIPM will be
damaged it they are not diligently followed. (IMPORTANT) call
Ken at 714 356-7481 before connecting the Battery with a new TIPM.
Special Instructions on Diesel PCM
Note special steps must be followed on the Diesel vehicles listed below;
Ram w6.7 L
Jeeps w3.0 L or w2.8L
Sprinter w2.7L
1.When replacing the PCM the original PCM must be installed allowing
information to be stored "inhaled into scanner" then exhaled into new PCM
2.Important, verify you can communicate with original PCM with a Scanner not
a Code Reader. If no communication can be established call Ken at 714 356-7481
before making a programming appointment.
All other Powertrain and Body modules (except TIPM and Diesel PCMs).
Save all Information Sheets packaged with replacement modules.
